Never a Dull Day

Class was more of the same today. A few hours listening to speakers who have looked for life all around the globe, then a few experiments we can do with students in our classrooms. Today we got a repair kit for the tent. Just in time too, because as we were applying the patches another thunder storm blew in. It wasn’t much of a storm though, so we didn’t get any more damage.

Cara has a job interview (or possibly more than one) next week, so she needs to fly home to Bostoni. She got a flight for a good price using air miles, so she’ll fly out Saturday morning, and fly back 8 days later. Maybe—depending on how things go. Ideally she’ll get here on Sunday afternoon and we’ll head out to Glacier park and then Vancouver. Otherwise, if she needs to stay at home to finalize employment, I’ll have to drive back to Lexington on my own. I hope that’s not the case!
